Wrestling legend Kamala underwent emergency surgery this week due to complications from diabetes … but his stepdaughter says the ex-wrestler is continuing to show signs of improvement.
Kamala’s stepdaughter tells us the 67-year-old was rushed into the procedure due to his lungs and the area around his heart being filled with fluid, as well as other diabetic complications.
As we previously reported, he was put on life support after the surgery.
The wrestler — whose real name is James Harris — has been struggling with diabetes for the past few years and it led to both of his legs being amputated.
We’re told the former WWF star was able to open his eyes yesterday and doctors are attempting to wean him off the ventilator today, since he’s showing signs of improvement.
We’ll keep you updated as his condition progresses.
