Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Johnny Valiant died today at the age of 71 after he ran into a busy road and was hit by a pickup truck.
A rep for the Ross Township police department confirms Valiant was struck by the vehicle early Wednesday morning in Pennsylvania and later died at the hospital.
The story was first reported by WPXI.
Johnny appeared at WrestleMania I managing Brutus Beefcake and was with the company until 1987. The Valiant Brothers were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.
Police say the accident is currently under investigation.
