Jimmy Jacobs No Longer Working For WWE Following Bullet Club Invasion Photo-Op

jimmy jacobs fired let go released wwe bullet club invasion

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Jimmy Jacobs is no longer working at WWE and the final straw seems to have been a picture he recently took with Bullet Club outside of Raw.

Sources say the backstage producer made his exit last week, but we’ve been unable to confirm if he was released or not. We are told, however, that there was major heat on Jimmy for posting an Instagram picture of himself meeting with BC while they filmed Being the Elite last month (seen below).

As we previously reported, WWE officials were much angrier than anybody expected after Bullet Club’s “invasion” and it lead to them sending The Young Bucks a legal letter.

A rep for WWE had no comment.

That is crazy. I read Jericho’s book and Jericho said he worked with Jacobs, who genuinely enjoyed the business and was amazing to work with. A pity to see one of WWE’s most notable writers say goodbye to the company. I’m sure he’ll excel wherever he goes.

Ryan, you should tell people in advance that you only want positive post about you. it has come to many’s attention that you delete anything negative then go complain on Twitter. When will you realize the reason you are not respected by most is due to acting like a baby about things?
When will you have your next pity-party where you need time away from reporting?
    😉

Petty on the WWE’s part. But Jimmy should have known better than to pose for a pic with those guys.

    • muse13579

Oh please, this isn’t just plain old being petty. It’s just a picture? Is it so bad taking a picture with old friends? Jimmy has a 100% right to take one selfie

      • Louis

        Suck it, puta.

      • Kiz and Goldie

No you don’t you work for a corporation you sign a contract you’re bound by that contract it’s called The Real World

  • El Hijo De Fistfight

There’s photos of KO, Sami & AJ all with the Bucks while in WWE and nothing has ever happened to them. Vince stupid petty as his company circles the drain.

I think the problem was more that they were acknowledged by someone who worked for WWE during their ‘invasion’. I don’t think WWE’s problem with it was the association with them in general, but the association with them while the Bullet Club were on what was, at the time, enemy turf.

        • El Hijo De Fistfight

They were on public property and in no way were interfering with the proceedings inside the building. Vince is just a bitter twat.

          • Carn

Probably more the share holders than Vince.

          • Will Henderson

            no, it’s all on Vince.

          • BubbaGrace

Do you have a source on that or are you just another guy on the internet who acts like he knows Vince personally because you watched a few shoot videos?

          • El Hijo De Fistfight

Nah, it was Vince. The shareholders aren’t wrestling fans. Vince is the guy who got himself twisted up over it and pulled the trigger.

          • Mike Farris

Since Jimmy was on the clock. That s why he got fired

    • Rowdy Flair, Savage Piper

Makes me think he is gonna be apart of the actual invasion that is gonna be taking place.

Wwe sends people away so they can talk signing other wrestlers without getting all of us involved. As soon as Jimmy goes wherever he ends up bet that he is gonna be in a few people’s ears getting them over to wwe for Vince. Check WcW, ECW, RoH, and TNA shortly after wwe alumni make their way over.

    • DtGtT

None of that was at a WWE venue where TYB were mocking WWE. Not very similar. TYB & The elite were doing an anti-WWE angle at a venue WWE was at & this agent takes a friendly pic with them. Very stupid on his part.

      • El Hijo De Fistfight

Yeah I suppose taking a photo with your friends and losing you job over it is far less stupid.

      • KevinLockard

lol Who cares. Still such a dumb thing for them to get angry about.

    • Kiz and Goldie

Yeah the billion-dollar drain WWE’s going nowhere this isn’t TNA if that failure of TNA hasn’t gone away WWE you sure as hell ain’t going away

Just wait and see. I know I’m right. Agents and spies are everywhere.

    • Rowdy Flair, Savage Piper

If not for Vince then for HHH and Nxt so HHH can say “I told you so when he hears the crowd pop for “some Indy guy according to Vince. Lol

    • TheJrockfreak .

Why would he send more guys to wwe to just be misused

  • Jeremy Massler

If the photo was the “final straw,” then what were all the other straws? Feels like some context is missing here.

    • Will Henderson

he pretty much pissed Vince off with suggestions and all the usual stuff that makes Vince go made. the Bullet Club photo-op was just the excuse justify that they wanted him fired.

  • CirrocObama

    Who?? And WHO???

  • Roger Bessette

How is this any different than Kevin Owens taking a picture with Adam Cole right after he won the Universal title before Cole signed with WWE? They shouldn’t let somebody go because of who their friends are.. If that’s the case then fire Sami, AJ, and Owens cause they were all on Being the Elite over a month ago

    • TheReverendPuck

They also have zero problem letting Omega show up on UpUpDownDown repeatedly.

      • El Hijo De Fistfight

Side project not REALLY WWE sanctioned is my guess.

    • El Hijo De Fistfight

The double standard I suppose is that those didn’t take place on company time most likely.

  • JabroniBeatingPieEating

    What a stooge.

  • Briggs Bennigan

This is all a bunch of crap. It’s a work.
