Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed Jey Uso was arrested over the weekend in Texas for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

The current SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion was released the same day on Sunday.

According to a rep for the arresting agency, Jey was pulled over around 1am for a traffic violation and the officer observed signs of intoxication. A field sobriety test was then administered on the wrestler and it was determined that he was showing signs of being under the influence.

Uso -- real name Joshua Fatu -- was then charged with DWI and taken into custody. We're told the records do not currently show if he ever took a breathalyzer test.

A rep for WWE told F4WOnline, "Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials."

Talk of his arrest was first mentioned by a Twitter user named Slice Wrestling.
