Goldberg is admitting he let his fans down at WWE Super ShowDown, but says it was due to being knocked out during the match.
The WWE Hall of Famer tweeted after the event saying:
Knocked myself out and thought I could finish…. love my fans…..but let u down. Everyone else that found “pleasure” ….. hope ur happy
While there’s no official word on when this happened, Goldberg seemed to be knocked out after ramming his head into the turnbuckle post before he began to bleed.
As we previously reported, Matt Riddle tweeted and deleted a video after the match where he had some harsh things to say about the 52-year-old wrestler.
Undertaker appeared to be angry in the ring on Friday once the match was over. Not long after the event, he liked a comment on Instagram which said, “Can you please stop bringing Undertaker back now? Jesus Christ after everything he’s done for the company just let him retire in peace.”
