Ex-WWE stars Enzo Amore and Big Cass opened up about their reunion in a new interview, saying "this isn’t about having great matches, it’s about raising hell."

Enzo and Cass were interviewed by Sports Illustrated following their worked shoot angle at G1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden and said it was a dream come true.

“We walked out of there on our own terms, with our middle fingers in the air, on the first card not by a McMahon in over 60 years," said Enzo.

The duo then touched on their future and Big Cass -- now using the name CazXL -- made it clear that they won't be focused on work rate. “This isn’t about proving how good we are in-ring,” he explained. “We know how good we are. This isn’t about having great matches, it’s about raising hell and entertaining the fans.”

Amore added, "Our goal is to be the top act in the entire world of pro wrestling. In the social media era, we’re the f---ing Road Warriors. We’ve got nothing else to lose, so we’re going to take it all."

As you'll recall, Enzo was released from WWE back in January '18. Cass was released in June.

The two admit they were finally able to settle their personal differences to reunite outside of WWE after Cass suffered a seizure at a House of Hardcore event.

“We had the opportunity of a lifetime with the WWE to see the world and build our brand, and now we are Free AgentZ,” Enzo told Sports Illustrated. “Nobody in WWE, AEW, New Japan, Ring of Honor, or Impact has been given the opportunity we’ve had. We have a social media following, a presence, and a voice despite not working for a company right now. In order to take advantage of that, we plan on doing it in ways that have never been done before."

FYI -- Enzo also claims they have a TV show in the works.
