Former WCW champ David Arquette -- whose run is credited as one of the final nails in the coffin for the company -- announced he's making a wrestling return to put some respect on his name.

The 46-year-old actor made the announcement on the Wendy Williams Show while promoting the new Netflix documentary, “Survivors Guide to Prison.”

If that doesn't excite you enough, the actor also says he'll use the name David "Magic Man" Arquette.

Earlier this month, Pro Wrestling Sheet reported exclusive details on a marathon training session the former champ participated in.  We were told at the time he was working on some sort of documentary and sources tell us the film is based around his return.

"For 18 years, I've been trolled on the internet and people have attacked me," Arquette told Williams.  "I just want to bring some respect back to my name."
