Former WWE star Darren Young says he's looking to wrestle more in 2019 and would like an opportunity to do so with a company like All Elite Wrestling, NJPW or Ring of Honor.

Young aka Fred Rosser was a guest on the latest Same Team podcast with Daniel Trainor -- a show featuring influential LGBTQ athletes, journalists and personalities discussing the complexities of their respective journeys -- and talked about his goals for this year.

"2018 I spent more time doing speaking engagements and less wrestling," he explained. "But 2019, moving forward, I want to do more. I want to let promotions know that, whether it's ROH or New Japan or All Elite Wrestling, just give me an opportunity. I have a lot left in the tank. What do I got to do? Do I have to start at the bottom? Because I'm not unfamiliar with that. So, let me know."

As for whether he'd like to include his sexuality at the forefront of his character going forward, Darren replied: "I don't mind having fun with it. At the end of the day, it's about putting on a show. Do you want to have the people sitting on their hands or do want to have them on the edge of their seat? So, you can have a little fun, you know?"

The full interview covers Vince McMahon not wanting to include Darren's sexuality on TV, his journey towards coming out and much more.
