Chris Jericho has dedicated his Wrestle Kingdom 12 match tonight to one of the most beloved names in wrestling who sadly passed away too soon ... and Chris Benoit too.
Jericho posted a photo on Instagram that shows Benoit and Eddie Guerrero caricatures standing behind him with the words "'We' Are Back" written at the top. Y2J's caption says, "I really like this fan art by @richard_I_P. I dedicate tomorrow’s match to the fallen brothers."
For those unaware, Chris Benoit murdered his wife in 2007 and strangled their child to death. He also had a successful wrestling career in Japan.
Jericho is scheduled to wrestle Kenny Omega tonight in a no DQ match.
