Casting Company Hiring Extras to Watch Impact Wrestling Tapings in Ottawa

casting company impact tapings crowd paid

If you’re in Ottawa and looking to make money, head over to the Impact Wrestling tapings this week … because a local casting company says they’re paying people to watch.

Smyth Casting put the word out on social media asking for people available November 7-9 who are looking to make $12.50 an hour, four hours total per day.

For those doing the math, this means you can make $150 just to stand and WATCH wrestling.

The company also says they’re looking to hire fifty to seventy five people, which is surprising considering Anthem has been rumored to be hemorrhaging funds and this would cost over $10,000.

Applicants can work more than one day and may be given pre-made signs.

The casting call continues: “You are encouraged to look at wrestlers on the website and make your own signs, that would be very helpful – and you will get more face time on TV!!”

Interested parties can FIND THE INFORMATION HERE.

UPDATE: The listing has been taken down by the company.

    Great idea.

I mean, they want the show to look good on TV. The fact that they want to have paid audience members in the arena. Why is that such a bad thing? You get paid to watch wrestling. That’s fucking cool for me. I do that shit in a heart beat. Plus, it says 4 hours of tapings each day that you have to attend? That’s tough for a fan.So, it is cool to get paid to watch wrestling. Sign me up for that. So, I don’t get the hate for this.

For real. If they are losing money, they wouldn’t be doing this.
