Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed with sources that Braun Strowman is truly dealing with an elbow injury and will likely be out of action for about a month.

In case you missed it ... Strowman was involved in an injury angle last night on Raw after Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley "shattered" his elbow during a post-match attack.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the angle was done to cover for bone spurs in Braun's elbow that will require surgery.

Sources confirm this is the case and tell us the injury was aggravated during his match at Survivor Series. We're told doctors determined that surgery would be required afterward, so the decision was made to get it done now before WrestleMania season rolls around.

Our sources say Braun will likely be out of action around 4 weeks because of the procedure. He's currently scheduled for a match against Baron Corbin at TLC on December 16.

We'll keep you updated if any additional information is made available.
