Former TNA Champions Bobby Roode and Eric Young are officially done working for the company, but neither were fired -- we're told they both requested their release.

TNA released a statement to PWInsider saying, "Impact Wrestling has come to terms on the release of veteran wrestlers Bobby Roode and Eric Young."

The two wrestlers started working for TNA in 2004 and both achieved great success in the company.  Roode captured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in '11 and Young did it in '14.

Sources tell us Young asked for his release because he felt like it was time to move on. Unclear exactly why Bobby pulled the trigger on leaving at this point.
