There's gonna be a party in Cobb County, Georgia tonight ... Big Bossman has just been announced as the next wrestler who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The story was first reported by CBS Sports and confirmed by WWE not long after -- no official word at this point though on who will be inducting the former corrections officer at the event.

During the early 90's Bossman had memorable feuds with the likes of Mr. Perfect, Ted DiBiase, The Mountie and Nailz. He jumped to WCW in 1993 and would portray a slew of gimmicks, including The Boss, The Guardian Angel and Big Bubba Rogers.

Before sadly passing away in 2004 of a heart attack, Bossman returned to WWE during the height of the Attitude Era and participated in some of the most amazingly cringeworthy moments in company history. See: Al Snow's Dog and the funeral of Big Show's father.

The induction will be broadcast live on the WWE Network April 2nd.
