HoHo Lun was hit with some online criticism following his Cruiserweight Classic debut ... but Ariya Daivari, his opponent, says fans should cut the guy some slack.

We spoke with Daivari on Dash Radio's inaugural LIVE edition of Wrestling Sheet Radio and the 27 year-old says he was very happy with their match, despite Lun's lack of experience.

"I don't think the wrestling scene in China is very big. Even if he's a popular wrestler in China, I don't know how much he got to work. I've been fortunate enough, that for nearly the past 10 years, I've been able to wrestle almost every single weekend with some really great guys in some really great places."

Daivari adds, "I really feel like I'm glad that this happened at this stage of my career, because I can go out there and feel comfortable. I'm confident in myself. I'm confident in my skill. So, that's the only thing that I was thinking. He may have never have done anything like this."

During the full interview, Ariya Daivari went further in depth about his Cruiserweight Classic experience and told us what it was like to get hands on help from Triple H and William Regal.
