Ex-TNA wrestler Ken Anderson was in line for a big push before he was fired from the company in January for failing a drug test … sources tell Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Our sources say that despite not being used much on Impact Wrestling in 2015, TNA’s creative team were looking to give his character a new lease on life with a talk show segment.
The segment — called “Huh?” with Mr. Anderson — aired on January 12th and we’re told producers planned to make it a reoccurring segment after they were happy with how it it turned out.
Ken Anderson also won the main event filmed for Impact’s Jan. 19th episode — but as we previously reported, it was cut from the show after he was suspected of wrestling under the influence.
The wrestler failed a subsequent drug test and was released shortly after.
